Before you do anything more, you need to have a plan in effect. What are you about to do to rank higher? How are you going to structure each page? How will those pages be linked? What about backlinks? The better your scheme, the better your chances of success. Don’t be disturbed about being locked into the plan. If, while you do your SEO, you find a way to do things better, then by all means, go ahead and adjust your plan as required. Keywords are the key foundation of any SEO campaign. No matter what strategies you use, they may all revolve around your keywords. Make an effort to do the research, use free or paid keyword tools and see what your competitors are doing. Lots of people prefer to have one page dedicated to each of their keyphrases. That doesn’t mean you can’t use other keywords on those pages, but the focus will be on one keyword. There is one final thing worth discussing: your pages have to be well implemented. While you may be working conscientiously to use SEO to rank higher, none of it counts if folk don’t like your internet site. Don’t overdo using your keywords, make navigation straightforward, and do your best to provide relevant information as it relates to what folk are on the lookout for. The better news is that being user-friendly and impressing the search websites can both work in harmony with one another.
